  Sugar Beet – Play That Funky Bingo – 2/3/26 If you weren’t at Sugar Beet this week, don’t worry — the people who were there will be happy to tell you about it. Loudly. Repeatedly. Possibly with choreography. And with our new start time (music at 4:30, Round One at 5 sharp), the crowd rolled in early like they were trying to beat the brunch rush at Cracker Barrel. We opened with Motown Label , which is basically the musical equivalent of handing the room a double espresso and yelling “GO.” The winner list was so long it looked like the cast list of a Marvel movie. If you weren’t on it, don’t take it personally — statistically speaking, you were probably still looking for Heatwave  by Martha and the Vandellas. Then came True Colors , where Ann Carlucci once again reminded us that she dances like she’s got a sponsorship deal with a knee surgeon. Sugar Beet - Survey Sez... - blurb from 12/17/24

Unless something changes between now and January 21st, Survey Sez... is being replaced by a second game of Play That Funky Bingo (Music Bingo). The decision came from management and is due to attendance being slower for Survey Sez. Remember, your food and drink purchases at Sugar Beet are what funds gameshows there. Let's Do Trivia! at the Clubhouse Ballroom is paid by your HOA and is considered a Community Amenity. At our last game, we had 4 teams with a total of 20 players. Leading the game at halftime was Why Nots  followed by Bar Team  in 2nd and Waterside Wonders  in 3rd. As we entered the final questions, Why Nots  managed to hold onto the top spot while This & That  took a flying leap into 2nd place and Waterside Wonders  remained in 3rd. After the dist had settled, This & That ended the game as CHAMPIONS with Bar Team  in 2nd and Why Nots , who had dominated the whole time, ended in 3rd place! Thanks for playing!
