Survey Sez - Sugar Beet Market - Blurb from 2/20/23

 Hey folks!

John here, and it was great to see you're smiling faces once again, it had been a while.

I think we had a relatively good time, technical difficulties not withstanding, don't you?

Anyway, we had a packed house as 17 teams came out to play. Leading at the halftime were The Nitwits as New Kids On The Block acted like anything BUT and were a paltry 7 points back in 2nd. Watersiders were not dismayed as they rolled up into 3rd at the half.

Dancing was somewhat limited at the February game, but James Brown managed to get some of you onto your feet to shake a leg!

It's always great seeing my long-time friends! Special thanks to Barb who always makes me feel welcome.

As we rolled along and were headed toward the final question, Nitwits had managed to belie their name and held the pole position. CRS must have taken their meds, as they started to remember things and landed in 2nd all the while, New Kids On The Block were still hanging in there despite their extreme youth.

When the wine and pixie dust had cleared, Po Boys landed on top after taking a flying leap from 4th place. Grumpy Old Men took 2nd, Watersiders grabbed 3rd, and our 4th place prize went to Champions.

Stay safe, be well, wear your seatbelt and don't smoke in bed. (If you ever want something fun to do on a Thursday night, I host trivia in Denton at the beautiful Market Street Pub in the amazing Third Edition room. That game begins at 6:30pm.

Sugar Beet – Survey Sez – 07/19/22

HIGHLIGHTS I always love the dancing that spontaneously breaks out on certain songs!   This was one of those rare games where nearly every team got the final question right. So it all came down to how they wagered. Just about every team went all in, except Deep Thinkers . Any other game a partial wager would have been smart, but this time it sank them from third place to tenth.   Bar Team , Why Nots , Bad Girls , and Let's Go Mets all won gift cards coming in First, Second, Third, and Fourth respectfully.
